Japan meets Denmark

Anne Marie Buemann is one of the founders of OEO Studio, which has been combining Danish design and Japanese notes since it was established in 2003. Originally designed specifically for Anne Marie Buemann’s own Copenhagen flat, the OEO model is a sophisticated and personal kitchen design that combines raw and refined materials. Guided by a common set of values, Garde Hvalsøe and OEO Studio have collaborated on a range of projects that have received international acclaim over the years. Examples include the Michelin restaurant Kadeau, which has a bespoke kitchen as its centrepiece, and the Dinesen showroom, which also features a superbly hand-crafted kitchen.
