We stay close to our production.
Not only geographically – our workshops are located near our design studio in Copenhagen – but also in thought and approach. This proximity allows us to stay true to our values: craftsmanship, presence, and respect for the material. It also enables us to follow the work closely, ensuring quality in every detail.
By working locally, we honour tradition – and refine it in practice.
We create spaces through a process of listening, adapting, and evolving with each project.
For us, production is not a step in the process.

Garde Hvalsøe is a tribute to craftsmanship and the refined simplicity that cabinetmakers and other masters have honed over generations. Each piece of furniture and bespoke interior is handmade in our Danish workshop by skilled hands and trained eyes – with a deep understanding of proportion and detail. Created for projects around the world.
We work closely with a trusted network of joiners, stonemasons, and blacksmiths who share our ambition for uncompromising quality and have refined their craft through years of collaboration. Continuity and trust form the foundation that ensures each project reaches its full potential.
We also work with classical disciplines such as brasswork, upholstery, and leathercraft – always with the ambition to elevate the bespoke to new heights.
